Community Launch

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Winthrop Arts Community Launch Event on Saturday, January, 23, 2016! It was a huge success with over 450 attendees!

From the interactive statue garden to the blooming inspiration quote wall to the live painting and the pop-up performances, we simply couldn't have asked for more! We had an incredible time and hope you did as well!
To keep the fun going, check out all the event photos on our Facebook page! (And be sure to "like" us to keep updated!).

And of course, we have to thank all of our amazing sponsors and artists! We couldn't have done it without you!

Thanks to dancers from Brandon Ballet, Kim Hall's School of Dance, and Tampa Modern Dance Company. Thank you to our DJ, Lucas Odparlik with Topshelf Entertainment for donating his amazing talents. Thank you to Kayla Mae Nordbye from Banyan Aerial Arts for her brilliant aerial performance and to Broadway dynamo Dan'yelle Williamson for her incredible vocal talents. A big thanks to Neil Leonard for the live ceramic station and to Carol Valderrama for the beautiful roses for our Blooming Inspiration! A big shout out to all of our Art Factory supporters and students who led tours throughout the night! Thank you to Winthrop Town Centre for donating many supplies! Thank you to our fantastic food sponsors (for the free and delicious treats!) Acropolis Greek Taverna and Eats American Grill. Thank you to the Barn Theatre at Winthrop for the wonderful event space. Thank you to the Winthrop Arts Board of Visionaries for pulling everything together for this event. And last (but certainly not least) - thank you to Travis Greisler for envisioning and directing this event and Misha Shields for choreographing this fabulous night!
