Camp is Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Cost is $160 / camper

Mindfulness and Mixed Media:
Ages: 6th grade and above
Wednesdays: June 12, 19, 26 and July 3 from 1-4PM
During this class students will be introduced to Mindfulness skills that assist youth in focusing their attention, regulating emotions and practice compassion and empathy for themselves and others. Lessons will incorporate breathing techniques, guided meditation, body awareness and mindful movement.
Artistic components of the class will consist of creation of personal pieces that explore concepts of peace, self-love, growth mindset, and compassion for self and others. Mixed media may include collage, clay, paint, weaving, small sculpture with found or recyclable materials.
Teacher Bio: Mary Torres, MSW, RYT 200Ms. Mary has been working with youth and families for over 30 years. Since 2017 she has been teaching mindfulness and yoga to children and families and incorporates art and storytelling in her classes. She believes that incorporating multiple creative modalities is important in creating connection with ourselves and others and assists in exploring our whole selves mind, body and spirit.
